The topic of environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) has become increasingly important to companies across all industries as we operate in a global market challenged with sustainability issues. We are dedicated to evaluating our business through the lens of impacts on the environment, our people, and in our communities, with the goal of providing transparency to our stakeholders and integrating sustainable considerations into decision-making processes at our company.
Against this backdrop, we are proud to report on the progress of our internal ESG program, which was initiated for calendar year 2021. We began with conducting an internal materiality assessment to determine which environmental, social, and governance issues are most relevant to our business and stakeholders. Our materiality assessment determined that the most important ESG topics impacting our business, our clients, employees, and the larger environment include: our greenhouse gas emissions from our day-to-day workflow; our environmental initiatives and contributions to the local communities in which we operate; employee well-being, equity, and inclusion; our code of ethics; and data privacy and confidentiality. As we adapt and grow to meet the evolving ESG landscape, we will continue to evaluate the risks and opportunities that are material to TIG Environmental and commit to presenting annually on our key topics and initiatives. This page presents our environmental reporting for 2021 and our social and governance reporting for 2021 through 2023. Our environmental assessment for calendar year 2022 is underway, and our report will be posted later this year.
TIG offers a full range of ESG Advisory Services for clients including ESG Program development, ESG Reporting and Program Management, and Due Diligence for transactional purposes or program evaluation and benchmarking. We also offer related ESG and Product Stewardship services including Supply Chain Evaluation and Risk Management Services.
